In 2015 Rihards Vitols graduated a master degree in New Media Art from Liepaja University (LV), part of this studies he spent in Bauhaus-Universität Weimar (DE). Between 2015–2017 he was studying in the Academy of Media Arts Cologne (KHM) where he graduated a  master degree. At the moment he is PhD student at DXARTS in University of Washington.
